Willys Raiders

North Africa, 1942. You lead a three-jeep patrol across the sand sea by night, twin Vickers K guns bolted to every mount. 2 Troop and 3 Troop hold station off your flanks and engage on their own. Five operations, from Tamet in December 1941 to Barce in September 1942 — every one of them has until first light to burn the Luftwaffe on the ground and vanish into the desert.

Objective

Destroy the parked aircraft on the flight line. Fuel bowsers go up big — use them.

Threats

Sweeping searchlights, flak pits and patrol trucks. Get caught in a beam and the whole field wakes up — shoot the lamps out.

Campaign

Five historical airfields. Between each one you leaguer up and draw one item from the supply dump.

Sound is synthesised in-browser and starts on your first input. Inspired by the real 1942 SAS jeep raids on Axis airfields at Sidi Haneish, Bagoush and Fuka.

Tamet is only the beginning

Tamet was the proving raid. Four more airfields wait — Bagoush, Fuka, Sidi Haneish and Barce — each bigger, better defended and shorter on darkness than the last.

  • Four further historical operations, up to 14 aircraft a night
  • The full supply-dump refit chain and all five upgrades
  • Sidi Haneish — eighteen jeeps in line abreast down the runway
  • Barce, and the campaign ending
